Language Courses

The General English course is centred on improving students’ English communication skills. The scope of study will be more life-oriented. The goal of the course is to allow students to communicate with friends from different countries by learning general English.

General English courses are conducted in a holistic manner. Through group discussions, classroom activities, school materials and regular grade tests, students can improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills on average.

EAP is designed for students who want to progress to a university or professional school in Australia in the future. The teaching content is more academic, including：

• Skim reading skills
• Academic vocabularies
• Critical thinking
• Academic research skills

The IELTS course is specially designed for students preparing for IELTS. It provides training in answering, reading and writing skills. There are two types of IELTS tests (valid for two years)：

• General Training Group – IELTS (General Training) is mainly used for immigration and job hunting to prove that an individual has the appropriate English ability.
• Academic Group – IELTS (Academic) is mainly used for further studies to demonstrate that the student has met the English requirements set by the school.

Cambridge English is a highly practical English course with more than 20,000 universities, employers and government agencies accredited for Cambridge English exams results around the world.

After passing the designated English course, students can apply for the corresponding level of English test. After passing the test, students can obtain the corresponding level of English certificate, which is valid for life.
